Baker Lake – Iglu
Baker Lake sits at the mouth of the Thelon River and is Canada’s only inland Inuit community. Traditionally a gathering place for many different groups of Inuit, the community is now home to many Inuit artists and carvers.
Baker Lake, NU – Nunamiut Lodge
Baker Lake is the end point for lower Thelon River treks, a good canoeing river for less experienced canoeists. Baker Lake is also the finishing line for experienced canoeists on the Kazan River, which offers plenty of rapids.
Cambridge Bay
Arctic Island Lodge is owned and operated by the Ikaluktutiak Co-op. The lodge features three meeting rooms that seat 125, 40, and 12 people.
Chesterfield Inlet
Experience Arctic hospitality at its best at The Tangmavik Inns North Hotel in Chesterfield Inlet. The Tangmavik is owned and operated by the Pitsiulak Co-op.
Coral Harbor
Katudgevik Inns North is owned and operated by the Katudgevik Co-op. This new hotel features six kitchenette suites and modern accommodations.
Fort McPherson
The Peel River Inn is owned and operated by Tetlit Service Co-op. It is located on the east bank of the historic Peel River. Peel River is a 17-hour drive from White Horse, YT and a 3-hour drive from Inuvik, NWT.
Gjoa Haven
The Amundsen Inns North is owned and operated by the Qikiqtaq Co-op. The hotel has a full service dining room featuring local dishes and homestyle cooking. There is a conference room for meetings and special events. Carvings and jewellery are available for sale at the Co-op.
Grise Fiord, NU – Grise Fiord Lodge
Grise Fiord has a population of 130, and is Canada's most northern Inuit community. Located on the south coast of Ellesmere Island in Nunavut Territory, visitors will truly experience a 24-hour day from April to August, and 24 hours of darkness from mid-November until the beginning of February.
Hall Beach
The Hall Beach Hotel is nine-room hotel owned and operated by the Hall Beach Co-op. Each room is appointed with flat screen TV, private bathrooms, and features local artwork on the walls. Guests enjoy delicious home-style meals and can sample northern delicacies like arctic char.
