Notice Regarding RoomMaster Cybersecurity Incident

We were recently advised by RoomMaster, our property management software provider, that it experienced a cybersecurity incident on or about August 10, 2026.

Upon discovering the incident, RoomMaster immediately blocked the unauthorized access and launched an investigation. Based on the forensic review, some Inns North guest information was compromised, including names, travel dates, reservation confirmation numbers and contact information.

No credit card information was accessed as part of this incident.

While payment card information was not compromised, we recognize that the information accessed could potentially be used in phishing attempts or other scams. We encourage guests to be cautious of unsolicited emails, text messages or phone calls claiming to be from Inns North, particularly any communication requesting credit card details, passwords or other sensitive information.

Inns North is contacting affected guests directly to inform them of the incident and provide information about steps they can take to protect themselves.

We are also taking appropriate steps in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including reporting the incident to the relevant authorities.

The safety and security of our guests and their personal information are extremely important to us. Although this incident occurred within a third-party provider’s system and not the Inns North network, we are working closely with RoomMaster and taking steps to minimize potential impacts and reduce future risks.

We regret any concern or inconvenience this incident may cause our guests and appreciate their understanding.
